What we do with your documents
The documents you upload to Jeos - whether tenders, contracts, policies, or anything else - are often confidential. Here is exactly what happens to your data, with no exceptions.
Uploaded documents
Your files are held only for as long as it takes to generate your requested analysis - briefly in secure temporary storage during processing, and in memory while being read. They are deleted immediately once your analysis completes, whether it finishes successfully or not. We do not retain copies, back them up, or use them for any purpose beyond producing your result.
AI processing
Your documents are processed using Azure OpenAI Service under Microsoft's enterprise data handling terms. This means:
- Your data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.
- Your data is never shared with, or made accessible to, any other customer.
- We have configured our service to disable the default 30-day abuse-monitoring retention, so your content is not retained by our AI provider at any point, even temporarily.
Generated results
The analysis report itself (not your source documents) is shown to you when processing completes. For your convenience - for example, if your connection drops before you've had a chance to view it - a temporary copy of the result is kept for up to 24 hours after completion, then automatically and permanently deleted. If you choose to save a result to your account before then ("Save to Jeos"), we store only that generated report as a permanent copy - never your original uploaded documents - and the temporary copy is deleted immediately once you do. You can view, export, or permanently delete any saved result at any time.
Operational records
To operate the service and maintain accurate billing, we keep two distinct kinds of record:
- Billing records, kept for as long as your account exists (and for a limited period afterward as required by law for tax and accounting purposes): when a comparison was requested, which credits were spent or refunded, and when. These records contain transaction amounts, timestamps, and job identifiers only - never the content of your documents or results.
- Temporary job status, kept for up to 24 hours after a comparison finishes (see "Generated results" above) so you can retrieve progress or a result if you lose your connection. Unlike billing records, this temporary record does contain the analysis result itself while it exists, which is why it is short-lived and automatically deleted - either after 24 hours, or immediately if you explicitly save the result sooner.
Your credits and billing
Credits are purchased in bundles through Stripe and recorded in your account. Every purchase, use, and refund is logged as a permanent record for billing accuracy and dispute resolution. This ledger contains transaction amounts and timestamps only - not document content.
Your account
You sign in using your existing Google or Microsoft account. We receive your name and email address from that provider to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google or Microsoft password, and we do not access anything else in those accounts.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Delete any saved results in your account yourself, immediately
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data (we retain billing records only as long as required by law for tax and accounting purposes)
- Ask what operational records we currently hold about your usage

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this policy and notify active users before the change takes effect.
